“The really nice thing about the model of care at Lift is that it treats the whole person. They’re not just treating your cancer, they’re looking at everything that’s going on with you.”
When Natasha was diagnosed with breast cancer, she approached treatment with three perspectives: a patient, a highly experienced health professional and an athlete. She already understood how critical strength and mobility are during major health events, and that insight shaped her decision to engage in prescribed exercise medicine from the very beginning of her cancer journey.
For Natasha, that meant a multidisciplinary team under one roof: medical check-ins before every exercise treatment, evidence-based Prescribed Exercise Medicine, Physiotherapy, Lymphoedema screening and nutrition support, all working together.
This integrated approach allowed her to stay active and focus on healing while continuing to do the things she loves.
