“Cancer wasn't part of the retirement plan” states John.

“I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, level four and it has spread to a couple of other spots in my body.”

“You keep thinking about, okay how long I'm going to be on this planet and you basically need the support of a whole range of different people, not just your family, but professionals and particularly the Lift Cancer Service Centre. There's a range of things here that people should really take advantage of because, at the end of the day, it's your life. You've only got one life. So you've got to do the utmost to preserve that and to lead that healthy life.”

“I came down to the Lift Centre and I guess the first thing that struck me was the pleasant, friendly nature of the staff. That is so important and just cannot be underestimated. The staff here are just fantastic.”

“The Lift Centre has been an important part of my being able to deal with my cancer both physically and I guess emotionally.”

“I would strongly recommend Lift Cancer Care as almost one of the key planks. It's a one-stop-shop.”
