The role of a consumer representative is to provide a consumer’s perspective, and more specifically, the perspective of the standard patient attending Lift Cancer Care Services. This includes;
· Presenting how consumers may feel and think about issues
· Ensuring the meeting group understands the consumer’s concerns
· Ensuring accountability to consumers, and
· Acting as an advocate for issues affecting consumers
