We are looking for Pelvic Health Physiotherapists to join the Lift team.
PART-TIME & FULL-TIME
Lift Cancer Care Services is a South Australian owned and operated integrated support services centre, providing evidence based care for oncology patients in the areas of exercise medicine, physiotherapy (musculo-skeletal, lymphoedema, pelvic health), dietetics and psychology. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive community for cancer patients in which they feel empowered to actively participate in therapies that will enhance the management of their cancer treatment and improve their quality of life.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.
This role involves providing high-quality assessment and treatment for patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction related to cancer treatment, surgery, or hormonal changes.
The successful applicant will demonstrate clinical expertise in pelvic health and a passion for working collaboratively within an oncology environment.
+ CLINICAL
- Deliver specialised pelvic health physiotherapy services, including assessment and management of continence, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, pre-surgery and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Work collaboratively with other clinicians at Lift to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and contribute to individualised care planning.
+ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, including continence, pelvic pain, sexual health, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Strong understanding of the impact of cancer treatments (surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormonal therapy) on pelvic health and overall function.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based rehabilitation programs to optimise recovery and quality of life.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to manage a varied caseload effectively.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and engagement in ongoing learning related to oncology and pelvic health.
- Compassionate, patient-centred approach with sensitivity to the physical and emotional needs of people affected by cancer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist
- Full unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualifications or additional training in Pelvic Health / Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.
- Eligible for registration for a Medicare Provider number

- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
- The ability to work with empathy, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
