Lift Cancer Care Services is a South Australian owned and operated integrated support services centre, providing evidence based care for oncology patients in the areas of Exercise Medicine, Physiotherapy, Dietetics and Psychology. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive community for cancer patients in which they feel empowered to actively participate in therapies that will enhance the management of their cancer treatment and improve their quality of life.
ABOUT THE NEW GRADUATE PROGRAM
Our 12-month structured program is designed to fast-track your transition from university to confident, independent clinical practice with a strong foundation in Oncology Physiotherapy and Exercise Medicine.
You’ll work alongside experienced Oncology Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, and allied health clinicians in a collaborative, patient-centred team.
You’ll receive mentoring, supervision and protected professional development time all while building deep clinical skills in a growing, high-impact field.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Over the course of your program, you’ll gain experience across:
Oncology exercise prescription and delivery to use exercise as medicine for people during and after cancer treatment.
Post-surgical and musculoskeletal physiotherapy
Lymphoedema screening including use of our SOZO bioimpedance technology.
Collaborative multidisciplinary care and working with Psychologists, Dietitians, and other allied health professionals to support the whole person.
PROGRAM INCLUSION
Weekly supervision with a Senior Oncology Physiotherapist
Bi-Monthly professional development workshops and clinical tutorials
Monthly shadowing and mentorship across multiple disciplines
Exposure to a unique integrated care model shaping the future of cancer care in Australia
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Recently graduated or graduating in 2025 with a recognised Physiotherapy degree
AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
Passion for oncology, exercise prescription, and patient-centred care
Curiosity to learn, courage to step into something new, and a genuine desire to make a difference
