Meet Kim
It all started when...
Kim works from Lift Cancer Care Services, at the Tennyson Centre and is able to see people who have been diagnosed with cancer and their family members. She has extensive experience as a Clinical Psychologist, particularly in the areas of trauma (that can be associated with cancer) and family relationships. She has an interest in the impact of cancer on the individual and their family. Kim has training and experience in a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR and Gottman couples therapy. She believes in tailoring her approach to the specific needs of the person, while always providing a “safe base” as they navigate through their cancer journey. Kim approaches her work with warmth, genuineness, sensitivity and empathy.
