Lymphoedema is a condition that can cause significant swelling of the arm or leg due to the build up of fluid. This can occur when the lymphatic system, which is responsible for draining excess fluid, is damaged as a result of cancer treatment. 

SOZO is a rapid, easy, non-invasive fluid analysis tool. The technology in SOZO enables early detection of fluid accumulation which allows for early detection of lymphoedema. Having regular SOZO measurements taken prior to cancer treatment and at regular follow-up intervals allows you to:

•Establish a baseline for what is ‘normal’ for you

•Detect the early stages of lymphoedema

•Track progress

Lymphoedema screening is quick, easy and appropriate for anyone who has had lymph nodes removed or who is concerned about lymphoedema.

Rebates

Your lymphodema screen will be conducted by a Physiotherapist. If you are covered for Physio as part of your private health insurance policy, you may be eligible for a rebate.
