Day Hospital Practice Manager

$120,000 - $140,000
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Lift Cancer Care Services, we are seeking an experienced Day Hospital Practice Manger to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the incumbent will be responsible for operations including financial management, staff management and compliance with Day Hospital accreditation standards.
This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of healthcare delivery. What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field an advantage
Proven experience in healthcare management, with a focus on Day Hospitals
Experience with Day Hospital Accreditation against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards
Knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations and compliance
Knowledge of Medicare system
Knowledge of Private Health Insurance system as it related to both in-patient and outpatient health services
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to analyse and improve operational processes
Demonstrated proficiency in use of clinical software applications.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
